Synopsis

This course offers a comprehensive overview of aplastic anemia (AA) to support early identification, accurate diagnosis, and effective management. Participants will explore the clinical presentation and diagnostic workup of AA, including key laboratory parameters and differential diagnoses. The course covers standard treatment strategies such as immunosuppressive therapy, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), and triple therapy, with attention to individual patient characteristics and comorbidities. Special focus is given to the management of pediatric, elderly, pregnant patients, and those with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria overlap.
