Next-Generation MRI Contrast Agents

This CME-accredited session examines the evolving role of MRI contrast agents in modern diagnostic imaging and their impact on image quality, clinical decision-making, and patient safety. The session will review current developments in contrast agent design, including strategies to reduce gadolinium exposure, alongside updates in guidelines that are shaping clinical practice. It will also address common challenges in contrast selection, dosing, and risk assessment, highlighting gaps in confidence and decision-making in real-world settings. By integrating emerging evidence with practical guidance, this session aims to support clinicians in optimizing the safe and effective use of MRI contrast agents in routine practice.
