Dr. Lam is recognised globally for her expertise in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). She is a world-renowned clinical trialist, having contributed to the first approved treatments for HFpEF through her roles on the global steering committees of the PARAGON, DELIVER, FINEARTS-HF, and EMPEROR-Preserved trials. She served on the 2021–2022 European Society of Cardiology Heart Failure Guidelines Task Force and has published over 750 articles in leading journals, including NEJM, JAMA, Lancet, Circulation, and European Heart Journal, earning recognition as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher in Clinical Medicine (2021–2024). Dr. Lam serves as Senior Consulting Editor for JACC and is the recipient of the prestigious 2025 National Outstanding Clinician Scientist Award by the Singapore Ministry of Health. In MedTech, she is co-founder of Us2.ai, an award-winning startup applying artificial intelligence to echocardiography to advance the fight against heart disease.
