Prof. Raul D. Santos MD, PhD, MSc is Associate Professor at the University of São Paulo Medical School and Director of the Lipid Clinic at the Heart Institute (InCor), Brazil. An internationally recognized expert in preventive cardiology and lipid disorders, his research focuses on genetic dyslipidaemias, familial hypercholesterolaemia, and atherosclerosis. He is a past President of the International Atherosclerosis Society and has contributed to numerous international cardiovascular guidelines.
