Synopsis

This CME-accredited session explores the atopic continuum through a practical, case-based approach spanning early-life atopy, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, and asthma. The course examines how atopic diseases evolve across different life stages, highlighting the shared inflammatory pathways and multisystem nature of atopic disease. Through real-world patient cases, participants will gain insight into recognizing early indicators of disease progression, identifying opportunities for timely intervention, and applying integrated management strategies across the atopic spectrum. The session will also address prevention approaches, treatment escalation, and the role of multidisciplinary care in improving long-term patient outcomes.

This activity is supported by an independent grant from Viatris

Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better prepared to:

  • Evaluate patient cases to identify appropriate intervention points and management strategies that may modify the course of atopic disease.
  • Apply evidence-based approaches to the management of atopic dermatitis, including escalation to systemic and targeted therapies when appropriate.
  • Integrate multidisciplinary and coordinated care strategies to optimize outcomes in patients with atopic multimorbidity across different life stages.
