Obesity as a chronic disease: from knowledge to clinical practice

Synopsis

Obesity is much more than a matter of increased body weight: it is a chronic, complex, and multifactorial disease that presents significant challenges in everyday clinical practice. How can we move from knowledge to an approach that truly benefits our patients? In this webinar, we will review the key concepts for understanding obesity from a current perspective, available treatment options, and practical strategies for its diagnosis and comprehensive management in primary care. We will also explore how person-centred, stigma-free communication can help foster a more effective therapeutic relationship. A practical session designed to update knowledge, build confidence, and provide new tools that can be applied directly in clinical practice.

This activity is supported by an independent support grant from Lilly
