Synopsis

This expert led program supports oncology nurses and APPs in delivering high quality, individualised care in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by providing practical education on HER2 biomarker testing, current evidence based treatment recommendations, and approaches to managing treatment related toxicities. The first module, presented by Beth Sandy, covers how to identify HER2 mutations, interpret biomarker test reports and communicate findings to patients. The second module, presented by Nicolas Girard, covers best practices for management of HER2 mutation-positive NSCLC, including how to support patients on HER2-targeted therapies. This course is intended for Advanced Practice Providers.
