Synopsis

This course provides a clear and practical update on the outstanding challenges in haemophilia A management. Across four modules, it reviews how treatment goals have evolved - from treating bleeds to normalising the patient's daily life - together with the clinical limitations and unmet needs revealed by clinical trials and real-world evidence, where bleeds persist and joint health deteriorates despite prophylaxis. The programme also addresses the treatment burden: route of administration, preparation, reconstitution and storage, and their psychosocial impact. The current challenge is achieving greater haemostatic protection without sacrificing convenience.

This activity is supported by an independent support grant from Novo Nordisk
