Synopsis

Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is still one of the most common obstetric complications during childbirth and remains one of the leading causes of maternal death. During the last few years, the incidence of PPH has increased by 4-5 times in developed countries, hence proper diagnosis and management remain essential. In this accredited course, we bring together the 3 specialties involved in the management and treatment of PPH with the aim of updating our knowledge and understanding of the current state of the art in severe PPH, including its management and treatment options. Moreover, during the course, you will be presented with discussion panels and a clinical case to provide you with practical tips to implement in your clinical practice. This course is avalated by SEDAR and SEGO. This activity is supported by an independent support grant from Novo Nordisk
